Ludwig Von Krupp was a prominent European heavyweight who competed for the Capitol Wrestling Corporation (CWC), the precursor to the modern WWE, during the late 1950s. Known primarily as Rene Lasartesse in Europe, he portrayed a formidable heel persona while touring North American territories. Throughout his extensive career, he faced legendary opponents and later became a respected trainer for the next generation of European talent.
