Biography

José Miguel Pérez was a legendary Puerto Rican wrestler best known for his historic tag team partnership with Antonino Rocca in the Capitol Wrestling Corporation. Together, they were recognized as the first-ever NWA World Tag Team Champions in the promotion that would eventually become WWE. During the 1950s and 1960s, he was a mainstay at Madison Square Garden, competing against top stars of the era before transitioning to a successful career in Puerto Rico.
