Biography

Antonino Rocca was a transformative figure in the WWWF, renowned for his innovative, high-flying acrobatic style that predated modern professional wrestling techniques. He became one of the biggest box-office draws in New York City history, frequently headlining Madison Square Garden throughout the 1950s and 60s. Rocca was the inaugural holder of the WWWF International Tag Team Championship alongside Miguel Pérez and remained a beloved figure until his passing. In 1995, he was posthumously inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame for his massive contributions to the industry.
