Known as the Hebrew Hercules, Abe Coleman was a staple of the New York wrestling scene and competed in several early events at Madison Square Garden for various predecessors of the modern WWE landscape. He is widely credited with inventing the dropkick after observing kangaroos during a tour of Australia.
